Pay attention to the little things that reveal the whole. Recognize the old things (they are witnesses). The world is small and full, revealing a glimmer of a larger truth.

I paint the distance of my hands from my heart, addressing the human condition. Reoccurring symbols of spirituality, personal and sacred to me, are central to the composition. Sometimes I use the figure to emphasize gesture, rhythm, or physical quirks. Besides the figure, I paint situations and/or impressionable shapes to create sentiment and respect for nature and life.

When looking at a dandelion, I see an atom, the shape if the world, nature repeating itself over and over again.

Art has always been a meditational practice for me.  When I pick up the brush, I have no plan. My hands move from the will of my higher self and technique. It is a daily experiment of being in the present moment, wild and inspired.
